Boxell Aerospace Moves Closer To Boeing's SC Operation

New Facility Scheduled To Open Next Spring

Boxell Aerospace recently completed the purchase of  2.8 acres in Charleston county for the purpose of building a new, state-of-the-art headquarters and expanded FAA Part 145 Repair Station. The facility will replace Boxell's current headquarters and repair station in West Ashley and relocate core activities to within one-half mile of Boeing South Carolina 787 Final Assembly and Charleston International Airport (CHS).  It will serve as an adjunct to the company’s facilities on-site at CHS.

The company says this location, just minutes away from both Charleston International Airport and Boeing South Carolina Final Assembly Campus, will allow for quicker response to customers as well as the additional facilities required to expand Boxell's current repair station to meet future growth.

According to founder and president, Lance Syner, the new facility, scheduled to open in the spring of 2015, “will allow Boxell Aerospace to expand its capabilities worldwide and serve a growing and much-needed service demand for Boeing 787 Component Repair.  The Boxell Aerospace vision is ‘Your Mission is Our Mission.’  Appropriately, the concept for our new facility has been affectionately named Mission Control by the Boxell Aerospace Team.”

Boxell Aerospace is a veteran-owned and operated, aviation services and products provider based in Charleston South Carolina, providing 24/7/365 Aircraft Line Maintenance and AOG service for carrier and freight operations, Tier One Boeing 787 Production Support, and FAA 145 Repair Station services.
