Rectrix Aviation Acquires Five Star Jet Center

Builds On Company's Presence At Westfield-Barnes Municipal Airport (KBAF)

Rectrix Aviation today announced that it has acquired Five Star Jet Center at Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport (KBAF) in Springfield, MA. The acquisition builds on Rectrix’s current operational presence in Westfield and will allow the company to expand its maintenance and private aviation terminal services at KBAF. The company eventually plans to increase the number of maintenance jobs at the new and improved facility. The terms of the deal are private.

“This acquisition provides us with a new opportunity to grow our Western Massachusetts operations both in terms of maintenance employees and passenger amenities which will better serve our customers and their aircraft,” said Richard Cawley, CEO of Rectrix Aviation. “Westfield-Barnes is such an important location the region. Having an expanded facility offering top-notch maintenance and passenger services will further help to attract flyers to the airport.”
