Milestone TBM 900-Series Delivery Noted At Paris Show

Handover Of 600th Turboprop To Be Held At Daher Exhibit

Daher Aircraft announced that its TBM and Kodiak turboprop aircraft lines will be featured at the 55th Paris Air Show currently in progress at Paris-Le Bourget Airport (LBG/LFPB). Daher also announced that the handover ceremony of the 600th TBM-Series aircraft will also be held at its display on Thursday June 19.

The U.S.-based customer is a repeat TBM buyer taking delivery of a TBM 960, having previously owned a TBM 940 and a TBM 930 before that.

Daher said the 900-series is the best-seller in the history of the TBM family and to date, more than 1,260 TBMs have been delivered globally. That number includes the six variants made since the family’s entry into service in 1990: the TBM 960, TBM 940, TBM 900, TBM 910, TBM 850, and TBM 700.

The EcoPulse distributed propulsion hybrid aircraft demonstrator will also be highlighted at the show. It is based on the TBM platform and was developed by a consortium of Daher, Safran, and Airbus, along with support from France’s civil aviation research council, CORAC.

EcoPulse is one of the French aeronautics industry’s major collaborative projects and will be exhibited at the entrance to the Paris Air Lab at the Le Bourget Airport.

Daher encourages media to attend the TBM 960 handoff ceremony at 9:30 am on Thursday June 19, at the Daher Aircraft exhibit: Static Display Area B4.
