HAI Declares Heli-Expo A 'Resounding Success'

More Than 18,000 Attended The Convention In Orlando

HAI Heli-Expo 2015 posted robust attendance numbers for the premier annual helicopter industry trade show and conference, according to the organization. Final attendance figures recorded 18,272 registered attendees, and participation by OEMs, suppliers, and service providers to the industry was just as strong. The HAI Heli-Expo 2015 show floor hosted 735 exhibitors, including 116 first-time participants. Net square footage of exhibit space was 312,400, and there were 57 aircraft on the show floor.

The 2015 numbers compare favorably with the show stats from 2011, the last time HAI Heli-Expo was in Orlando. Both exhibitor registrations and net square footage of exhibits displayed substantial increases of 21 percent and 10 percent, respectively. The 2011 floor hosted 608 exhibitors covering 283,900 net square feet, and 16,019 attendees came through the doors.

“From my perspective, the show has been great. People are upbeat and excited, and reports indicate that a lot of business is being done on the show floor,” says HAI President and CEO Matt Zuccaro. “I have received nothing but compliments and praise for HAI staff and the wonderful job they are doing.”
