Tips, Tricks, and Wisdom On Deck in Lakeland This October
The first ever NAFI Summit will be held this October from the 24th to 26th at the Sun 'n Fun campus of Lakeland Linder International Airport.
The Florida home of all things aviation will "bring together CFIs, industry leaders, and others in aviation education" to attend "more than 25 interactive seminars designed to help CFIs improve their skills, refine their techniques, and increase their business acumen". NAFI has always been a dedicated group regarding those points, looking to improve the general stock of general aviation instructor while ensuring they can provide their services year after year - ideally as lifelong professionals instead of begrudging industry stopovers.
For their first Summit, NAFI will present a handful of topics, with a few banner courses being announced to entice prospective attendees. First, "What Went Wrong: A Look at Accident Data from Instructional Flights", followed by "Business of Flight: Managing Your Own Flight Instruction Business", "Cleared for Flight: Creating a Path to Success for Students", "Instructor Improvements: Tips and Techniques to Improve Your Skills as an Instructor", "The Wisdom of Wellness: Maintaining Your Health and Well-being", and finally "Tip-Top Tech: Using New Technology Effectively".
"NAFI Summit is created for flight instructors by flight instructors" said Paul J. Preidecker, NAFI President. “We are excited to bring together the best and the brightest in aviation education to offer insight and strategies on key topics that will help flight instructors continue to raise the bar for aviation safety and client success."
