Airborne 03.16.12: Cessna's Meltdown, Fuel-Injected Rotax, Boeing v Airbus v WTO

Also: Tecnam, WingX, HBC Furloughs, Online Medicals, Collier Trophy, FAA Forecast, Vicki Cruse Scholarships... and MORE!

First of all, let's offer up an apology for being a few hours late with this edition of Airborne. As we were in the midst of producing this program, Airborne Host Ashley got an early morning call with the news that she was in the processing of becoming an Aunt... and let's face it, that was important stuff, indeed and worth a little extras time so that she could be part of that amazing event.

In the meantime, though, there's lots of pretty cool news on the aviation front as well... some good and some bad. We're not sure what's going on at Cessna, but their top people seem to be fleeing the nest. There's a new Fuel-injected version of the Rotax 912... both sides are claiming something of a victory in the WTO ruling involving Boeing and Airbus, we also have the honor to announce this year's winners of the Vicki Cruse Scholarship and we couldn't be more impressed with the winners... All this and SO MUCH MORE in this week's edition of AIRBORNE!

As always, PLEASE keep sending us your feedback and ideas... you have no idea how important that is to us as we evolve the Airborne mission. As we listen to your critiques, we're getting a far better idea as to how to tweak and fine-tune future Airborne programming to fit your needs. We think you're going to like what we have in mind for the future.
