AMA And Fly Robotics To Release Part 107 Course

Provides Knowledge Needed To Pass Remote Pilot Test

The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) Education department, in conjunction with Fly Robotics, is set to release of our Part 107 preparatory course. This online training course will provide commercial UAS pilots the knowledge needed to pass the FAA’s required Remote Pilot—small Unmanned Aircraft Systems certification standards test.

The Fly Robotics Part 107 UAS Ground School Preparatory Course is different from other courses currently available because it also focuses on a pilot’s need to understand basic UAS functions for safe and controlled flight operations.

A dedicated partner of the AMA, Fly Robotics is a veteran-owned company with more than 10,000 Department of Defense-certified UAV hours and 50-plus years of fixed-wing, rotary wing, and multirotor platforms flown in military, recreational, and competitive model aviation including multiple national championships. AMA and Fly Robotics have been working together to provide educational outreach support to AMA members and all UAS pilots since the inception of the partnership.
