Airshow Legends Come Together: SUN ‘n FUN’s Oshkosh Exhibit

Annual Aerospace Expo Brings the Florida Vibes to Hangar C, Booth 503

Worlds are colliding at Wittman Regional Airport, with the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo exhibiting for its next event at the EAA’s Oshkosh Airventure airshow. The Florida-style display is located both inside and outside of Hangar C.

As if Oshkosh 2025 starting wasn’t thrilling enough, preparations for the 2026 SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo seem to be in full swing. The organizer has even unveiled a final version of its 52nd annual event poster: a patriotic design that pays tribute to the 250th anniversary of America while showcasing some of what visitors can expect as they celebrate “Red, White, and Blue at 52”.

The 2026 expo follows a record-breaking 2025 event, which drew in over 200,000 attendees and featured demonstrations from the Blue Angels, F-35A Demo Team, and the F-16C Viper Demo Team. The event has become Florida’s largest annual convention, even rivaling Oshkosh with outreach and performances.

Tickets for SUN ‘n FUN 2026 go on sale in September, with proceeds supporting educational initiatives through the Aerospace Center for Excellence. It will be held from April 14 to 19 at Florida’s Lakeland Linder International Airport (LAL).

In the meantime, Oshkosh-goers can get a mini version of the Lakeland feel at the SUN ‘n FUN exhibit. They have two locations at Hangar C, including an outdoor booth (503) and an indoor booth (3012), with free popsicles, event swag, and copies of the 2026 event poster.

SUN ‘n FUN President and CEO Gene Conrad will also be around for the event. He will be at and around the booth from 9:30 to 10:30 am each day, but spending most of his time volunteering on the flightline as Chairman of Airshow Ground Operations.
