Business Jet Center Opens New Hangar

Dallas Love Field Fixed Base Operator Increases Hangar Space By Nearly 25%

Business Jet Center has completed a $5 million expansion project at Dallas Love Field. A new hangar and adjoining office space, collectively called "Hangar B" by the company, increases the fixed base operator's total square footage of hangar and office space at the airport by nearly 25% -- from 178,000 sq. feet to approximately 220,000 sq. feet. The company also increased its ramp space by more than 65% -- from 9.6 acres to 16 acres. Overall, the FBO now occupies a total of 24 acres at Dallas Love Field.

According to Stephanie Jordan, general manager for Business Jet Center, the additional hangar space has already been fully leased and the company has a waiting list for clients wanting to reserve space with the company.

"Our growth in Dallas has been nothing short of amazing. It's certainly a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellent customer service and amenities that set us apart from the rest of the industry," adds Jordan. "We are very thankful to our clients for their loyalty to the Business Jet Center."

Business Jet Center was recently recognized as one of the top fixed base operators (FBO) by Aviation International News, a prominent aviation industry trade publication. Business Jet Center was ranked 4th best FBO in North, Central and South America on the publication's 2004 "Top 30 FBOs" survey of readers.

The opening of Hangar B and additional ramp space is part of a continued growth plan for the company, which expanded to the West Coast with operations at the Oakland International Airport in late 2003. The company, which currently operates out of a temporary facility in Oakland, is nearly finished with a $4 million renovation of the airport's original terminal, which will be used by the FBO as its executive terminal upon completion in Fall 2004.
