Trade-A-Plane and Crewchief Systems introduced the launch of Crewchief Intelligence, a new platform that provides prospective buyers and sellers secure access to fully vetted digital logbook data on an individual aircraft’s engine, avionics, and airframe.

The two companies made the joint announcement at the EAA AirVenture airshow and fly-in at Wittman Regional Airport (KOSH) in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

The service packages logbook records of an aircraft’s airworthiness along with regulatory compliance history to streamline the pre-purchase process, enhancing the value of the seller’s listing and giving both parties improved peace of mind.

Buyers can obtain in real time critical information on the asset directly from Trade-A-Plane listings and have an improved picture of the aircraft’s history of care and maintenance before progressing to a prebuy inspection and making an offer.

Sellers also gain benefit through a model that positions aircraft with data-backed history and thus more marketable and shortening the wait time to a sale.
