European AERO Expo Launches Business Aviation Revamp

New Show Hub Features Largest Static Display to Date

After seeing a surge in business aviation participation, AERO Friedrichshafen has decided to open up a new facility: the AERO Business Aviation Show Hub (AERO BASH). This will make its debut at the 2025 event, taking place April 9 through 12 in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

The new 1,500-square-meter Business Aviation Dome will be the show’s largest static display to date. It includes two halls, A2 and A3, to make space for OEMs, suppliers, operators, brokers, and other business and general aviation exhibitions.

The dome will also feature a speaker stage with a 40 square meter LED wall. This will be used for presentations on modern business aviation topics, like sustainability, current innovations, and the labor shortage.

To lean into the networking side, the BASH will be hosting evening DJ events and adding a VIP lounge and hospitality areas.

Several manufacturers have already confirmed their attendance at the 2025 Expo. These include Bombardier, Gulfstream, Piper, Daher, Pratt & Whitney, and Pilatus. MRO and FBO exhibitors, such as Platoon Aviation, Atlas Group, DC Aviation Group, and FAI Aviation Group, have also reserved spaces.

With last year’s turnout blowing past expectations, AERO Friedrichshafen has prepared itself for the chaos. It will, again, occupy all 12 exhibition halls of the center.

"Over 680 exhibitors from 38 countries and the high number of visitors from all over the world underline the international significance of AERO,” Tobias Bretzel, Show Director AERO, commented on the 2024 event. “The many European and world premieres show that the exhibitors meet a very knowledgeable and international audience. Visitors were able to see over 270 aircraft in the exhibition halls and in the static display – from motor trikes to ultralights, touring and training aircraft, and long-range business jets."

The 2025 AERO event will also mark the second anniversary of its Gliding Expo. Moving forward, this will change to a biennial feature.
