StandardAero Signs High Volume Deal with Gogo

Modification Specialist to Stock Avance L3, L5 Systems for Quicker Installation

StandardAero will soon offer a large increase in Gogo Avance L3 and L4 installation slots thanks to a volume deal signed last week.

The slots are available for a range of business jets, including the Dassault Falcon, Bombardier, Hawker, Gulfstream, Embraer and Citation series in service with operators from the US and Canada. Upgrades will be managed at StandardAero’s centers in Houston, Texas, Springfield, Illinois, and Augusta, Georgia. The move is just another example of the increasing dominance of Gogo's internet connectivity products in the business aviation sector. Their growing network coverage and 5G expansion have done much to show just how fast an in-air internet connection can be, offering near broadband performance even at altitudes as low as 3,000 feet. So far, StandardAero has completed more than 350 installations of Gogo equipment, helping them boast a significant level of experience in making sure all goes smoothly.

Robert Randall, director of avionics sales, says the volume deal will ensure customers won't be stuck waiting around for equipment to arrive. “Gogo AVANCE systems are top sellers and we foresee this trend to continue through 2023. In a world still experiencing supply chain woes, we’ve taken the steps to ensure customers won’t face production delays and our sites will be stocked with Gogo Avance L3 and L5 systems, ready for installation.”

“We want to ensure business jet operators’ cabin connectivity requirements are being met by offering industry leading solutions such as Gogo’s AVANCE L3 and L5 systems,” Randall continued. “Operators can take advantage of StandardAero’s aircraft upgrade expertise and unit availability to give both passengers and crew the in-flight experience they expect in a fast-moving, digital and connected world.”
