ANN at AEA 2003: Thorough Coverage Coming This Weekend

One of the most truly fascinating events of our year is the annual Aircraft Electronics Association Convention and Trade Show... as no other segment of aviation currently boasts the rate of technological innovation that we see in the avionics business. Just as fast as some company demonstrates the latest and greatest in 'lectronic wizardry, comes something else to trump it... and then another and then another... and this year's pace is particularly wild.

Remember... this is the year that Avidyne certified the Entegra, UPSAT intro'd the CNX-80, and Garmin announced further plans to prove that they are STILL the 600 pound gorilla of the avionics biz. Never a dull moment...

Hundreds of manufacturers of avionics, instruments, airframe and test equipment along with shop owners, managers and technicians will flood the exhibit hall at the Aircraft Electronics Association's 46th Annual International Convention and Trade Show, April 24 through 26 in Orlando, FL.

We're expecting over 1300 people, 100++ vendors from all over the world, a number of new product announcements, some coveted opportunities to get up close and personal with the absolute latest and greatest in today's avionics, and if that doesn't beat all, ANN will be awarding three rare ANNie awards to some VERY deserving recipients Friday afternoon.

Over the next few days, ANN's top folks will be on site to get a gander at the hottest news in avionics and will present same to you as quickly as we can digest the details. It's going to be a VERY interesting weekend.

Stay tuned...
