Flightcell – v2track Agreement Announced

New Zealand Tracking & Communication Concerns to Partner

Founded in 1995 by Kiwi pilot John Wyllie, Flightcell is a New Zealand-based designer and manufacturer of aviation communication products and tracking systems.

On 11 July 2023 Flightcell announced v2track—a New Zealand-based company providing services by which clients may track and communicate with aircraft, land vehicles, and marine vessels—will henceforth serve as a new and approved airtime and tracking provider for Flightcell DZMx—an all-in-one cellular and satellite voice, data, and tracking system by dint of which operators of aircraft/land vehicle/marine vessels may choose their own tracking and airtime providers.

Flightcell’s DZMx will integrate with v2track Viewer—a cloud-based tracking and asset management platform by which operators of the aforementioned assets may monitor such in real-time and retrieve flight-data (post-flight) at any later date.

Cost-effective and aviation-focused, V2track Viewer includes advanced messaging functions, forms, 3D playback, animated weather overlay, engine data monitoring, status boards, and custom reports.

Flightcell founder and CEO John Wyllie stated: “Integrating Flightcell’s DZMx and v2track’s cloud-based platform is an exciting proposition. The complementary pairing will provide benefits to rotorcraft and smaller fixed-wing aircraft operators, especially given both companies operate in the same industries.”

v2track co-founder and director Kylan Diprose set forth: “A quality product like the Flightcell DZMx deserves to be fully supported. It is the perfect complement to the v2track Viewer cloud-based software, and we have taken the time to integrate the full Flightcell DZMx feature-set into the platform.”

Mr. Diprose added: “We are fortunate to have staff in our team who have over a decade of experience with the Flightcell DZMx enabling us to provide knowledgeable level one and two technical support for the product. We look forward to a continued close relationship with Flightcell.”
