Gulfstream Appoints Nicolas Robinson Regional VP Of Sales For Africa

Promoted From Director Of Product Support Sales For Asia Pacific

Gulfstream recently promoted Nicolas Robinson to the position of regional vice president of new aircraft Sales for Africa. Robinson, previously the company’s director of , reports to Trevor Esling, Gulfstream regional senior vice president, International Sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Robinson is based at the Gulfstream Sales and Design Center in Mayfair, London.

A 19-year veteran of the aviation industry, Robinson joined Gulfstream in 2009 as Product Support regional sales manager for Africa and the Middle East. Most recently, he oversaw Product Support Sales activities in Asia Pacific, including maintenance, refurbishment, avionics, provisioning and spare parts subscription sales.

Prior to joining Gulfstream, Robinson worked in charter sales, private and commercial aircraft management, contract aircraft management and leasing, and flight operations management.

Robinson, a native of South Africa, earned a private pilot’s license from Foster Aero International and attended commercial pilot ground school at Aeronav Academy. Both schools are based at Lanseria International Airport outside Johannesburg.
