EASA Approves Dart/Pall Air Filters For Airbus Helicopters

Engine Protection System For H125 Models

EASA has approved an STC for the PA100 PUREair System for H125/AS350/EC130 Helicopters from Dart Aerospace and Pall Aerospace. The PA100 PUREair System engine protection for Airbus Helicopters H125/AS350 and H130 families of helicopters.

The EASA certification joins a list of certifications that includes: Canada (TCCA), the FAA, Brazil (ANAC), and Japan (JCAB). The H130 (EC130T2) has also been added to the applicability of the STC with TCCA, FAA, ANAC, and EASA in the coming months.

The PA100 underwent snow trials in Canada in November 2015 to add full clearance for falling and blowing snow operations which is included in the EASA STC. JCAB approval also adds to the new regions of availability for the PA100 PUREair engine protection system co-developed by Dart Aerospace and Pall Aerospace. These new important approvals now allow operators in most regions to install the PA100 PUREair System.

Dart says the next generation PA100 PUREair System is a totally redesigned, re-engineered, and retested engine air protection system that is self-cleaning and virtually maintenance free. This 4th generation PA100 PUREair system leverages the latest advances in Pall Aerospace technology, including 3D Computational Fluid Dynamics optimized system design and innovative nano-material technologies.
