The Aircraft manufacturer Stemme AG announced that it will present two new aircraft models at this year’s Aero in Friedrichshafen.

The two new models S12-SW and S12-G strengthen Stemme’s range of products and extend the existing product portfolio with a short wing variant with a 71-foot wingspan as well as a state-of-the-art glass cockpit variant with a wingspan of 82 feet. The S12-G supersedes the S12 as the new top-model, whereas the S12-SW will be the new entry-level model. Stemme will start to sell all three models of the Stemme S12 product family starting with their presentation at the Aero. Zenith Aircraft called our attention to a video of a baby chimp being rescued from poachers in Africa. The touching short video of the rescue flight went viral on social media and international news since its release a few days ago, showing the pilot flying the baby chimp to his new home, even letting him play with the airplane's controls. Sporty’s Instrument Rating course has been enhanced with significant updates completed and new content added. Viewers start by riding along on a real-world IFR flight to Chicago Midway to
learn about the preparation, flying skills, communications, navigation techniques and instrument approach skills necessary for the flight. But in this update, 25 new, fully narrated HD maneuvers offer step-by-step instructions for all the key elements in the Airman Certification Standards for the instrument rating. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
