PAC International Featuring AMS EC135 At Heli-Expo

One Of Three Aircraft Recently Configured By The Company

Paradigm Aerospace Corporation, International (PAC) is showcasing a recently reconfigured EC135P2+ on exhibit during the HAI Heli-Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada beginning on Tuesday. The featured aircraft is one of three EC135s recently reconfigured by PAC and was previously operated as an offshore support helicopter.   During the reconfiguration process, the aircraft required significant interior modification, including a Metro Aviation Emergency Medical System and avionics including an upgrade of the Single Pilot IFR (SPIFR) package and Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) with Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) and Helicopter Terrain Awareness and Warning System (HTAWS).

Additionally, a Technisonic TDFM Series Radio was added and the aircraft received custom paint prior to customer delivery.  Metro Aviation is committed to the safety and training of its clients and employees and, as a result, is often ahead of industry standards.  The modifications made by PAC, including the Lightweight Aircraft Recording System (LARS), qualify the EC135P2+ to meet or exceed the proposed FAA HEMS rule change, and allow PAC to move forward with its FOQA program.

The helicopter is owned by Springfield, Missouri based Mercy Life Line, a longtime air medical program that has been operated by Metro Aviation since 2002.  With the addition of the EC135P2+ single pilot IFR helicopters, Mercy Life Line will commence IFR operations this year at their three bases located in Missouri.

PAC performs extensive aircraft customizing and completions, helicopter maintenance and repair services, avionics installation and repair, aircraft paint, as well as, component repair and overhaul services at their main facility located in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.

PAC International is a Metro Aviation, Inc. owned provider of extensive helicopter maintenance, customizing and completion services.
