The Society of Aviation and Flight Educators, known as SAFE, told the FAA last Wednesday that a proposed change in agency policy on Letters of Authorization (LOAs) for general aviation flight simulators will harm aviation safety and create a burden on the industry.

Here is some good news for those of you looking for a factory built light sport aircraft. The Vans Aircraft RV-12 will continue to be produced as a ready to fly airplane. Zenith Aircraft has begun shipping kits for its newest model, the CH 750 Cruzer. Introduced last April in Lakeland, Florida, the Cruzer is based on the popular STOL CH 750 but built for actual runways with smaller wheels and a new wing and tail design for higher cruise speed.
