Aerobility Returns with Armchair Airshow

Blackbushe Air Day Performances Available Worldwide

British disability support org Aerobility announced another iteration of "Aerobility Live", a livestreamed version of its performance from Blackbushe Airport.

The livestreaming aspect is a new addition to their yearly tradition, a twist that came courtesy of COVID-era lockdowns that is now here to stay. This year will see the return of a live audience, adding some helpful sense of background energy and vitality to the performance. Aerobility Live will take place simultaneously alongside Blackbushe Air Day, with the crew sporting a site to display the streaming show around the world. The show will feature specially recorded aerial demonstrations and live commentary from pilots, adding some interesting texture to the performance for aviation enthusiasts at home.

“Aerobility Live was initially born out of the necessity of public events being banned as a result of the pandemic," said Aerobility CEO Mike Miller-Smith. "In the years following, we have been able to build on our original idea, and in 2024 we are so excited to have a live audience as well as one online.”

“Whether you are an aviation enthusiast or not there will be something for everyone. By watching the show at home or in person, you will be supporting the important work that we do all year round.”

“As a charity, we have immense gratitude for the amazing support we receive from the aviation community. I truly hope you will be able to support the Aerobility Live this year and by doing so support the work we do with disabled people.”
