FreeFlight Systems Offers RANGR ADS-B Lease Program During AirVenture

Approved For Installation In Over 700 GA Aircraft

NextGen avionics leader FreeFlight Systems announced today that the Company is offering pilots the opportunity to lease a RANGR ADS-B system during the Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture Fly-In and Convention July 24 - 30 in Oshkosh, WI. This cost-effective, flexible lease program allows U.S. aircraft owners to meet the requirements of the 2020 ADS-B mandate with zero up-front investment and an affordable monthly payment.

Pilots have the option to lease a RANGR Lite system, available in two configurations; an ADS-B Out (only) system, the FDL-978-TXL leased at $99.99 a month, and an ADS-B In/Out system, the FDL-978-XVRL leased at $149.99 a month. No initial deposit is required. Lease price includes everything needed for system installation: full install kit with antennas, control head, and WiFi module when applicable. Lease agreements require a minimum three-year term, with the options to renew, purchase, or return the unit upon term completion.

"Our lease program is an innovative way to offer our certified ADS-B products to pilots who are searching for a high-quality solution," said Pete Ring, FreeFlight Systems' Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "It allows U.S. aircraft owners to equip with high-performance, proven ADS-B systems without having to pay for the entire upgrade up front."

Approved for installation in over 700 light general aviation (GA) aircraft, RANGR Lite systems are manufactured to meet the stringent quality standards required for ADS-B compliance, resulting in a mature and robust product. RANGR systems automatically synchronize with legacy transponders without the need for additional pilot interaction, and as the RANGR operates on the 978 MHz datalink, the systems support anonymous mode for privacy.

The cost-savings continue as customers who lease a RANGR Lite system qualify for the Federal Aviation Administration's five-hundred dollar ADS-B rebate program ending this September.
