Avidyne Extends Relationship With Duncan Aviation

Becomes Exclusive Worldwide Repair Center For EX500 Display Systems

Avidyne has  extended their repair service agreement with Duncan Aviation of Lincoln, Nebraska, to include Avidyne’s EX500 series of multi-function displays (MFD).  Duncan Aviation will now be the exclusive provider of repair services for Avidyne customers that are using the EX500, as well as its first-generation Flight Situation Displays (FSD) and early-model FlightMax Multi-Function Displays (MFD).

“We have had a great working relationship with Duncan Aviation and we are pleased to have them as our worldwide repair center for Avidyne’s legacy MFD products,” said Patrick Herguth, Chief Operating Officer.  “Duncan Aviation has a terrific track record of providing a high level support for our legacy MFD customers, and now our EX500 customers will benefit from Duncan Aviation’s vast industry expertise and exceptional reputation for quality and service.”

“This is a great opportunity for Duncan Aviation to expand our relationship with Avidyne Corporation and their customers,” said Todd Duncan, Chairman of Duncan Aviation. “We look forward to supporting Avidyne’s EX500 customers as well as their other legacy MFD customers for years to come.”

“Duncan Aviation is pleased to add the Avidyne EX500 product line to our service capabilities. As we did when we took on their legacy MFDs in 2010, our plan is to continue with the same EX500 service pricing and warranty that Avidyne has had in place for some time,” said Don Fiedler, New Business Development Manager for Duncan Aviation. “Duncan Aviation will also be providing free loaners, quick turn times and excellent technical support to satisfy our mutual customer needs.”

Under the terms of this agreement, Duncan Aviation will be the worldwide repair center for Avidyne’s EX500 series of multifunction displays.  Since 2010, Duncan Aviation has provided similar repair and support services for Avidyne’s legacy display products including the 5-RR FSD, and the FlightMax 440, 450, 640, 650, 700, 740, 750, 800, 850 & 950 model MFDs.

Repair and service of Avidyne’s EX500 MFDs will be fully transitioned to Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln facility within the next thirty to sixty days, and customers will not experience any interruption in service or delays in quoted turn-around times.
