V-22 Passes 2,000 Hour Milestone

On April 22, during a flight by one of VMX-22's Block A (newest model) MV-22s, the V-22 fleet surpassed the 2,000-flight hour milestone since the program's return to flight in May of 2002.

Rotorcraft Pioneer C.W. (Wes) Moore Passes Away

C.W. "Wes" Moore, 84, died Thursday, March 18, 2004. Born on Sept. 22, 1919, in Buffalo, N.Y. He had worked at Bell Aircraft from 1938 to 1943, and obtained his private and commercial pilot certificates in 1939.
