Hospitalized, In Stable Condition Near Santa Rosa, Florida
Two U.S. Navy pilots involved in a hard landing at Outlying Field Santa Rosa (OLF), a training area in East Milton, Florida, used extensively by NAS Whiting Field, are in the hospital and reported to be in stable condition.
U.S. intelligence personnel assessed that the Ukrainian drone strike against Russian airfields on June 1 actually hit as many as 20 warplanes and about 10 were destroyed, or about half the overall number estimated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Sergei Ryabkov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, said that all the aircraft will be repaired.

Airbus announced it has been awarded a contract from the German procurement agency Bundesamt für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr (BAAINBw) to install DIRCM (direct infrared counter measures) systems in 23 Luftwaffe A400M aircraft to protect them from missiles with infrared (heat) targeting capability.
