Airbus Helicopters has delivered the fifth and final H135 that will be used by the German Armed Forces in Bückeburg to train their pilots. The German Federal Office for Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) is leasing these helicopters – all delivered on time by Airbus – for initial and recurrent pilot training.

A newly formed prototyping arm has been established within Pratt & Whitney that will focus on the rapid and agile development of dependable, lower cost military engines.
