Boeing tells ANN it successfully completed a 12-hour test flight
of its A160T Hummingbird unmanned rotorcraft on October 12. The
half-day excursion marks the aircraft's longest flight to date.
CMC Electronics' newly-launched portable mission display known
as 'TacView' has been selected by the United States Air Force
Special Operations Command (AFSOC) for its AC-130 gunship aircraft.
The TacView displays will be offered in a dual installation that
will enable paperless cockpit operations, including aircraft data
and procedures manuals, interactive electronic charts and improved
situational awareness, using the U.S. Air Force FalconView mission
planning system.
Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. has added three deliveries of S-92
helicopters to their list this week as the Korean Air Force took
part in a ceremony during the Seoul Air Show.
