Lack Of Progress On Hangar Project Raises Questions

Official Wants To Know Why, Or See Progress On FAA-Approved Facility

A new aviation maintenance training facility was approved for Pierpont Community and Technical College and $25 million was allocated for its construction in August 2023, but not one shovel of dirt has been turned yet and Tracy Miller wants to know why. Tracy Miller is President of the Mid-Atlantic Aerospace Complex (MAAC), located at the North Central West Virginia Airport (KCKB) in Clarksburg. That is where the new, FAA-approved and certified hangar for the Pierpont maintenance training program is also to be built.

Paragon Flight Training Receives Piper Pilot 100i SN 200

Expands Order To World’s Largest Pilot 100i Fleet By 2027

Paragon Flight Training in Fort Myers, Florida, has taken delivery of SN 200, the 200th Piper Pilot 100i built by Piper Aircraft and now has over thirty Pilot 100i and one Seminole. The school began receiving deliveries of the aircraft in 2022 that included SN 100. Paragon recently finalized another order for additional Pilot 100i and Seminole aircraft to put Paragon on a path to become the world's largest Pilot 100i fleet by 2027.

PAL-V and the Netherlands Aerospace Center (NLR) announced the completion of the development phase of the rotor blades for the PAL-V Liberty, a significant step in moving toward the production phase of the flying car. The collaboration between PAL-V and the NLR, Netherlands’ premier aerospace research institute, took advantage of NRL’s extensive experience in aerospace engineering and composite structures to tackle the development and hone the design of the rotor blades.

Coast Guard Medevacs Ill Man From Cruise Ship

Man Exhibited Signs Of Stroke 50 Miles Off Oahu

A man experiencing symptoms of a stroke was medevaced from the cruise ship Zaandam about 50 miles off the coast of Oahu on November 26. Watchstanders at the Joint Rescue Coordination Center Honolulu received a notification from the senior doctor on board the Zaandam, about 330 miles northeast of Oahu, who requested a medevac for a 32-year-old man experiencing symptoms of a stroke.
