Aero Linx: South Dakota Aviation Association The South Dakota Aviation Association is an organization comprised of pilots, business owners and allied industry representatives. We use aircraft to assist agricultural producers in the production of food, fiber, and biofuel. Our pilots take to the skies to not only protect crops, but also rangeland, timber and areas threatened by fire. Our organization takes pride in land stewardship and our focus on the safety of agricultural aviation.

ANN's Daily Aero-Term (09.21.24): Maximum Authorized Altitude

Maximum Authorized Altitude A published altitude representing the maximum usable altitude or flight level for an airspace structure or route segment. It is the highest altitude on a Federal airway, jet route, area navigation low or high route, or other direct route for which an MEA is designated in 14 CFR Part 95 at which adequate reception of navigation aid signals is assured.
