U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean P. Duffy released an update on progress being made with proposed FAA drone rules controlling Beyond Visual Line Of Sight or BVLOS operations and restricting UAS operations at a fixed facility site. These were sent on May 13 to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs for review. RVL Aviation has inked a deal with ZeroAvia to fly what may be the ‘world’s first’ zero-emission cargo service. The operator will utilize Cessna Grand Caravans retrofitted with the hydrogen-electric ZA600 power plant.

Patient Told The First Responders That The “Man Who Was In The Plane Was Flying At The Time Of The Accident And Had Overshot The Runway They Were Attempting To Land On.”

On April 29, 2025, at 1534 Pacific daylight time, a Champion 7ECA, N6310N, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Cottonwood, California. The flight instructor and pilot receiving instruction were fatally injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 instructional flight. A witness, who was friend of both pilots, and located at the Red Bluff Municipal Airport (RBL), Red Bluff, California, reported that about 30 minutes prior to the accident, he observed the pilots at the airport and approached them for general

Aero Linx: Airpower Museum The APM owns 30 acres on Antique Airfield, including the south half of the N-S runway. It consists of three hangars, an annex, and a library. The museum has 20,000 square feet of display and storage space, plus many spare engine and aircraft parts, both on display and being made available to AAA members to assist in their restoration. The Airpower Museum features a large collection of aircraft, many of which are flown regularly. At each National AAA/APM Fly-in, the APM holds a Fly-Market, allowing members to buy, sell and trade parts for their airplanes and engines.
