layer of the earth's atmosphere, usually up to 3,300 feet, or one
kilometer, from the earth's surface, where the wind is influenced
by the friction of the earth's surface and the objects on
it.
Aero-Linx: NASA Commercial Crew
and Cargo Program (C3PO)
NASA’s Commercial Crew and Cargo Program is investing
financial and technical resources to stimulate efforts within the
private sector to develop and demonstrate safe, reliable, and
cost-effective space transportation capabilities. The Program
manages Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS)
partnership agreements with U.S. industry totaling $500M for
commercial cargo transportation demonstrations and is investing
$50M towards commercial crew development initiatives.
"The Middle East business environment still remains
challenging but confidence levels appear to be
rising... Dassault has seen much greater demand over the last
two quarters of the current financial year, with larger cabin jet
sales and prices holding up better than smaller jets. The
indicators for recovery are starting to show but even if this is
not a true rebound, business has certainly
resumed..."
