Joint Contract Is 'First Step' in Merger of Three Pilot
Groups
The Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) for the pilots of Pinnacle
Airlines, Mesaba Airlines, and Colgan Air has reached a tentative
agreement (TA) with Pinnacle Airlines Corp. management on a joint
collective bargaining agreement. This is the first step in the
process of merging the three pilot groups, all of which are
represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l
(ALPA).

NOW, its on the front lines in a patent fight between FlightPrep
(who holds a patent that they claim RF and a WHOLE SLEW of
other online flight planning sites may be violating). RunwayFinder
shut down a few days ago due to the lawsuit they had filed against
them by FlightPrep...
"I think there is a clear path toward fighting the
lawsuit against RunwayFinder, and potentially a way to invalidate
their patent. I am going to represent RunwayFinder myself at least
initially in the lawsuit. The help from everybody so far is much
appreciated."
