airlines a way to compete worldwide, a protectionist amendment
threatens to turn it all back.
Money Will Repay Earlier Loan, Provide A "Cushion"
Republic Airways Holdings is building a reputation for bailing
out cash-starved airlines. On Thursday, Frontier Airlines announced
it has received a new commitment for $40 million in post-petition
debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing from Republic, subject to
bankruptcy court approval and other pre-closing conditions.
Class 2 Electronic Flight Bags Rolled Out For NextGen 737s
First
Boeing announced this week an agreement with Esterline CMC
Electronics to provide Class 2 Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware
on selected airplane models for production and retrofit, starting
with the Next-Generation 737. A second provider will be announced
later.
