Feds Enforce Drug Testing for Non-US Repair Shops

Ruling To Affect Nearly 1000 Repair Station Sites Worldwide

The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a new rule enforcing drug and alcohol testing for employees of international repair stations. The decision is expected to affect around 977 repair stations across 65 nations. Though this regulation has been on the table for decades, it was not officially proposed until December 2023.

JetBlue Crew Base Opens In San Juan

Expected To Generate Over 400 Jobs By Next Year

JetBLue is the largest commercial air carrier serving Puerto Rico and it has just celebrated the opening of a crew base at the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (IATA: SJU, ICAO: TJSJ) in San Juan. The base is JetBlue’s first outside the continental U.S. and will bring several hundred jobs to the city.
