Mooney appears to be up and operating again in Kerrville, TX, as cars filled the parking this week following a furlough that lasted about a month. Company rep Devan Burns said that the furlough was lifted and "Mooney has resumed operations in Kerrville. At this time, there are negotiations with an additional investor." Mooney has been located in Kerrville since 1953. But sales have fallen to only about 20 airplanes a year since 2008, and there have been 11 owners and multiple bankruptcies in the company's history.
