Engine Experienced A Partial Loss Of Engine Power Shortly After Takeoff
On December 10, 2020, about 1500 mountain standard time, a Cirrus Design Corp. SR22, N577CP, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Ogden, Utah. The pilot was seriously injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. A friend of the pilot reported that the pilot told him the engine experienced a partial loss of engine power shortly after takeoff from runway 17, and that the airplane would not climb.
