The Canadian Forces Snowbirds put on one heck of a show, and to do this at EAA AirVenture 2016 they need a good chunk of airspace. The Snowbirds will perform on the last three days of EAA AirVenture, and on those days, the flightline airshow viewing area will be modified to allow the increased separation from activities on the ground. During the performance, AirVenture attendees will be restricted from accessing certain areas of parked aircraft. These areas must also be free of items such as chairs, blankets, coolers, and other loose items.
