Airborne 07.09.13: Asiana 214 Data, EAA v FAA, Bahamas Wants Bucks

The investigation into the cause of the crash of an Asiana Airlines Boeing 777 at San Francisco Saturday began almost before the flames were extinguished.

The FAA and NTSB are both participating. NTSB Chairman Deborah Hersman said on Sunday there was no indication of a criminal act but it was too early to determine what went wrong. Asiana said mechanical failure did not appear to be a factor. All this... and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
