Continental Aerospace Technologies Launches The Continental Fleet Shield Program

Entirely Customizable To The Exact Requirements Of Fleet Operators

Continental Aerospace Technologies has announced the launch of the Continental Fleet Shield program. Entirely customizable to the exact requirements of fleet operators, this program offers a unique service program for Continental, Continental PRIME, and LYCOMING engines designed to minimize return to service and cost.

Using Continental’s in-house MRO (Maintenance, Repairs, and Overhaul) facility, Continental Services, the Continental Fleet Shield program offers tailored solutions targeted to help fleet operators increase flight-line availability, reliability, and reduce unscheduled maintenance. The Fleet Shield program includes services such as bespoke ready exchange engines, specified turn-times for overhauls, repairs or IRANs, and tailored spare parts programs through Continental’s exclusive after-market distributor, Aviall.

“We have designed the Continental Fleet Shield Program with direct input from our customers. Fleets require maximum mission availability and true value. The Fleet Shield program goes way beyond the simple promise of technical support.”, said Chris Kuehn, vice president of Sales, Marketing and Customer Support. “Our commitment is to tailor options to each fleet specific needs.”

The components of the Continental Fleet Shield program include:

  • LYCOMING, PRIME, and Continental engine expertise
  • Tear-down inspections (fixed price, guaranteed turn-around time)
  • Exchange engines maintained in stock (guaranteed turn-around time)
  • Advanced ignition systems (12-year TBO, no 250- or 500-hour inspections)
  • Continental FAA-approved replacement parts for LYCOMING engines, trusted, reliable, and aggressively priced

Continental’s Regional Sales Managers are fleet customers’ first point of contact. They will list all the specific needs of the customer and work with Continental Services to create an offering unique to the customer.
