Avidyne Switches Service For Digital Acquisition And Sensor Interface Units

Radiant Power Corp Will Now Be The Worldwide Repair Center

Avidyne Corporation has transitioned service for all Digital Acquisition Units (DAU’s) and Sensor Interface Units (SIU’s) to Radiant Power Corp, effective immediately. Going forward, the company says that all DAU’s and SIU’s should be returned directly to Radiant Power Corp for service.

Radiant Power has been servicing these units under an agreement with Avidyne.  The DAU’s and SIU’s were originally produced by Moritz Aerospace and were sold as part of avionics systems by Cirrus Aircraft, Piper Aircraft and Columbia Aircraft.

Radiant Power Corp has purchased the assets of Moritz Aerospace and owns the designs for the DAU and SIU products and has the ability to perform PWA level repairs. Avidyne will continue to honor all units covered by an active Avidyne warranty. If a unit is covered by an extended warranty and an exchange unit is preferred please contact Avidyne technical support for exchange availability and processing information.

Avidyne will no longer offer new extended warranties for the DAU and SIU products.  If a unit covered under a valid warranty needs to be returned for service it should be sent directly to Radiant Power Corp for repair once an RMA has been issued. Technical questions regarding the DAU’s and SIU’s should also be directed to Radiant Power.
