Meet Klyde Morris at AOPA Fly-In This Weekend

Meet the Ant and His Writer

ANN talked with our favorite aero-toonist, Wes Oleszewski, creator of the aero-ant called Klyde Morris, about this weekend's public appearance, planned for the AOPA Fly-In in Frederick (MD). After signing the usual security waivers (in blood), this is what we learned.

"We have a booth," he told us, "and we'll be selling Klyde Morris Dolls, T-shirts, the whole series of 'Discovery Disks' (an interactive CD-ROM 'history book' about space); and the the first of the Klyde Clocks -- destined to be collectors' items."

He's in the fly mart [they allow ants in the "fly mart" this year --ed], the 800-section.

Also pick up "The Ant Pilot's Handbook," and other cartoon CDs. Klyde's creator says he'll autograph Klyde books, CDs... whatever isn't wet when he gets it.

The whole Klyde Morris team will be there (provided the TSA doesn't get there first).
