Miracle Flights Gives Wings To Countless Children Through $6,000 Match Campaign

Will Match Donations Through January 1, 2017

In honor of #GivingTuesday, national medical flight charity Miracle Flights will hold a $6,000 match campaign benefiting sick children in desperate need of out-of-state medical care.

Until Jan. 1, every dollar donated to the nonprofit will be doubled, providing double the miles and double the love to kids battling rare cancers and conditions.

Since 1985, Miracle Flights has coordinated over 104,000 flights and traveled over 58 million miles, bridging the distance gap between sick children and the doctors that can best help them. Plane tickets are provided at no cost to the families and as many times as necessary.

"We saw tremendous success with last year's #GivingTuesday campaign, and we wanted to build upon that success this year," said Miracle Flights CEO Mark E. Brown. "Instead of focusing on just one day, our match campaign will last until the end of the year. In the spirit of the charitable season, we encourage everyone to look into their hearts and contribute to children flying for their lives."
