Stampede Taps Unmanned Vehicle Insurance As Its Preferred Insurance Solution

Specialized Provider That Works Exclusively In The Unmanned Industry

Stampede has endorsed Boca Raton, Florida based Unmanned Vehicle Insurance as its preferred insurance solutions provider. According to Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly, the decision is the result of the company’s relentless pursuit of a complete insurance protection program that is also affordably priced.

“Performance and value are the two qualities that Stampede prides itself on delivering every day to our customers and insurance is no exception,” Kelly said today.  “The growing use of unmanned aerial vehicles in an ever-expanding range of vertical market applications has created an enormous need for comprehensive and affordably priced insurance protection programs that can meet the needs of every size commercial drone owner/operator. After a thorough review of the policies being offered by a host of different companies, we have determined that Unmanned Vehicle Insurance, through Lloyd’s of London coverholder Century Advisory Services, Inc., offers exactly what our resellers and end-user customers need for a very affordable price.”

According to Kelly, Stampede is encouraging its resellers to package an Unmanned Vehicle Insurance policy as part of their ongoing post-purchase service program.  “It’s an approach that offers additional revenue to our resellers while delivering maximum peace of mind to customers at a very low price.  For example, $1-million of Liability Insurance coverage for a full year can be purchased for as little as $500.  We believe that many end user customers will gladly pay this nominal amount of money to protect their investment.”

Unmanned Vehicle Insurance is a specialized insurance solutions provider that is dedicated exclusively to meeting the needs of unmanned aerial vehicle operators.  According to company founder and President Gary Reshefsky, “Our insurance policy programs have been designed from the ground up to meet the specific liabilities that are unique to the drone industry.  We have made the underwriting and purchase process as simple as possible for commercial users.”

Unmanned Vehicle Insurance offers Hull Insurance and Liability Insurance with the option to add on Malicious Damage Insurance and Multiple Drone Coverage, as needed by the customer. Hull Insurance provides for accidental damage to, theft of and disappearance of a drone, the camera and payloads attached to the drone, as well as any and all ancillary ground equipment.  Hull Insurance will also repair, replace, or pay for a lost, stolen, or damaged drone.

Liability Insurance provides for accidental damage to the property of others that is caused by a drone, accidental bodily injury caused by a drone, as well as the legal costs arising out of accidental damage or bodily injury.  Malicious Damage Insurance provides for claims arising out of the malicious and willful acts of others intending to cause damage to a client’s drone.  The Multiple Drone Coverage option provides a low cost way for clients to add additional drones to a chosen plan at a discounted per-drone cost.

“We have designed our policies to be complete and affordable, as well as scalable to meet clients’ future needs,” Reshefsky emphasized.
