Trig Avionics Announces New European Hub For Sales And Support

New Offices In The Netherlands Will Include A Dedicated Repair Facility

Scottish electronics company Trig Avionics has announced plans to open a new European office in the Netherlands, to enhance their sales and support activities.

Trig manufactures surveillance, communication and navigation equipment, used in light aircraft. The company’s products are exported to 42 countries around the world, making Trig a global success. This new venture is part of Trig’s long term business development; this reflects the ongoing growth of the business in manufacturing high quality and technically innovative equipment.

"Europe is a key market and having a new base in the Netherlands will bring us closer to many of our regular customers," said Trig CEO Andy Davis. "We know that dealers already recognize our first class customer support. Our new office will include a dedicated repair facility, and this will enhance our service offer.

Trig’s new location will be in the city of Amersfoort, in the province of Utrecht. This location provides excellent access to rail and airport connections, for both customers across Europe and for Trig employees accessing the new Netherlands base. Work is already underway to create a purpose built service workshop and office space in Amersfoort, and local staff recruitment in the Netherlands has started.

"Trig’s Edinburgh office remains the primary home for the business, but we are looking forward to the opportunities our new Netherlands venue provides," Davis said. "We plan to open our doors for business in the autumn. This exciting new chapter is part of our growth plan, as we add new avionics products to our portfolio."
