Million Air Dallas Opens International Ramp

Added Space To Improve Customs Clearance Process

A whole 3 acres of additional ramp space will be added at Million Air Dallas, providing faster customs clearance and increased workspace for locals of the Texas airport.

Million Air Dallas at Addison Airport has served as a large fixed base operator for years now, but the growing Texas economy has added additional stresses on the U.S. Customs personnel, as they struggle to keep up with the flow of traffic. The new ramp will connect to both the Customs and Million Air hangars, granting increased capacity to service international travelers and arrange incoming traffic with space to spare. Once in place, Million Air will offer arrivals "exclusive, ramp-side vehicle services along with its full lineup of premier FBO offerings directly adjacent to U.S. Customs." Perhaps more exciting for cash-strapped owners, those using the complimentary customs service will "eliminate an engine cycle, resulting in cost savings and faster, more efficient turnarounds."

“This project represents an expansion of Million Air's nationally recognized service to the U.S. Customs ramp, enhancing both service quality and operational efficiency for international aircraft arriving to Addison,” said Jeff Zimmerman, vice president of FBO services.

Don Rickerhauser, president and chief executive officer of Million Air Dallas, highlighted the economic potential of the expansion. “Our strong relationships with Addison Airport Management and U.S. Customs and Border Protection are vital. We are proud to contribute to the exceptional value the airport brings to the Addison community through this shared goal.”
