Airborne 06.20.14: USA Today Mispresents GA, Feinstein v Burbank, Sebring Update

Also: New Mooney Nearly Ready, How Bad Was USA Today Piece? -- REALLY Bad, Cessnas 2 Oshkosh, One Week Wonder

In case you’ve been numbed into the assumption that you can believe what you read in a major newspaper, USA Today has proved that yellow journalism is alive, well, and thriving in its so-called “report” on general aviation safety.

Of course, that’s our opinion, but we aren’t alone. California Senator Diane Feinstein is attempting to use a mini appropriations bill that includes funding for the Department of Transportation to curtail nighttime operations at Burbank Bob Hope Airport. The Feinstein amendment would impose a curfew on all airport operations at the airport. The 2015 annual U.S. Sport Aviation Expo will open one day earlier than in year’s past, with the event now running from Wednesday, January 14, through Saturday, January 17, 2015. All this... and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
