Avmax Wins Contracts With Airlines Worldwide For ADS-B Out Solution

Three Major Carriers Will Install The Equipment Aboard Bombardier Aircraft

Avmax has announced they have sold their ADS-B Out solutions to three Major Airlines. These solutions are Part 25 Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) for Dash 8-100/200/300 and CRJ 100/200/700/900; both aircraft types are approved by Transport Canada Civil Aviation Administration (TCCA), FAA and EASA.

Airlines from around the world have purchased Avmax’s ADS-B Out solution involving STC, Kits and LRUs. Along with the ADS-B Out solution, other upgrades also purchased were: WAAS GPS, FMS, MFD, Radar, TCAS and Cabin LED Lighting. These contracts are for Dash 8-100/200/300 and CRJ 100/200/700/900 series aircraft, with a total number of over 600 aircraft.

"We have a solid ADS-B Out solution available for customers.” said Maurizio Primiani, Vice President of Sales and Commercial Operations. “Avmax is able to provide more than just the STC, we can also provide the Kits, LRUs and installation. We truly are a one stop shop for our customers.”

Avmax’s ADS-B Out STCs provide an upgrade from either Rockwell Collins TDR-94/D or BendixKing (Honeywell) MST-67A Transponders to the DO-260B compliant Rockwell Collins TDR-94/D and allows the ability to retain existing interface and antennas, dependent on aircraft configuration and type.

Bombardier recommends the Avmax CRJ 100/200 solution through the All Operator Message (AOM) 919 & 1541. “Avmax has a solid reputation in offering packaged STC’s for many aircraft platforms.” AOM 919 & 1541 goes on to say, “Bombardier recommends that Operators who wish to implement a simplified ADS-B solution, to contact Avmax for pricing and lead-time information”
