Privatair Inaugurates New Zurich - New York Route With BBJ2

Flying On Behalf Of Swiss International Air Lines

Last Sunday, January 16, 2005, PrivatAir launched its new business class only private airline service between Zurich and New York's Newark airport on behalf of Swiss International Air Lines. The route is operated on an ACMI basis 6 days per week (every day except Saturday) with a brand new 56 seat Boeing Business Jet 2.

The long haul, all business class concept has proved to be eminently successful since the launch of first regular transatlantic routes in 2002 and 2003 in collaboration with Lufthansa.

Flight LX 18, which took off from Zurich at 16:45 landed in Newark at 20:15 (local times), and was fully booked with 56 passengers on board. The return flight (LX 19) left Newark at 21:45, scheduled to arrive in Zurich at 11:30 the next morning.
