Fully Digital Aircraft Owners Insurance Service Launched

SkyWatch Offers Convenience and Comprehensive Coverage

SkyWatch, a licensed insurance broker in all fifty U.S. states and Canada with offices in Tel Aviv, Israel and Palo Alto, California, has announced the launch of its new, fully-digital aircraft owner's insurance platform.

The game-changing offering enables owners of light aircraft to easily customize their insurance and obtain coverage in a matter of minutes—all with no need of a middleman. The new platform frees aircraft owners from the complicated, time-consuming processes of obtaining and maintaining insurance coverage and affords users a hassle-free, mobile, wholly-secure experience.

SkyWatch’s new product is backed by Global Aerospace, a leading provider of insurance and risk management solutions for the aviation industry.

SkyWatch’s new service will be distributed directly to pilots and aircraft owners via selected partners, thereby providing customers an end-to-end digitized quote and bind experience.

SkyWatch co-founder and CEO Tomer Kashi stated: “We believe it is time for the next generation of aviation insurance - faster, easier, and more customized to the needs of pilots. Our innovative approach is built on a foundation of data-driven technology and a deep understanding of the unique needs of pilots. We've already established ourselves as market-leaders in the drone insurance space, and our flexible aircraft renter’s insurance has been a huge success. Now, we are proud to enable pilots to benefit from a new era of simplified, quick, and easy-to-use aircraft owners’ insurance.”

Global Aerospace President and Chief Underwriting Officer Jeff Bruno remarked: “We are excited to expand our partnership with SkyWatch to provide a top-notch offering for light aircraft owners. The decision to build a new easy-to-use, technology-based platform to provide the best user experience for pilots, aligns with our commitment to drive innovation and simplify the process of buying aviation insurance.”

In 2022, SkyWatch launched a unique, on-demand aircraft renter’s insurance service. Since the debut of such, thousands of pilots have availed themselves of the opportunity to customize their insurance policy plan according to the number of hours they fly. Now, the company takes its forward-thinking amalgam of excellent service and digital convenience to the next level, providing light aircraft owners a better means by which to insure their planes.
