Skydiving Path of Excellence Winners Honored for 2006 World Record

International Skydiving Hall of Fame Recognizes Members of 400-Person Formation Dive

The Skydiving Museum and Hall of Fame has recognized the accomplishments of 2006's 400-Way owner of the record for largest aerial diving formation, placing them in the group's 2022 Hall of Fame Celebration.

The Path of Excellence Award was issued to members at the Daytona Beach Bandshell at Florida's Skydive DeLand, honoring those who took part in the record made on February 8, 2006. The dive, organized by BJ and Bobbie Worth, was performed as part of Thailand's Royal Sky Celebration honoring the 60th anniversary of the reign of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, bringing together skydivers from around the world for the largest multinational, single-purpose team ever assembled.

Given the timeframe, the body understands that some who took part in the skydiving record may not have been able to make it to the awards, so Path of Excellence recipients may contact the Skydiving Museum to acquire their plaques, sponsored by Bourdon Forge Co.
