Sam Lyons' 'Field of Dreams' Coming to OSH

ANN staffers got an invitation we thought we should share with the rest of the ANN world... it seems that one of our favorite aero-artists, Sam Lyons, has been at it again.

When you're wandering around Oshkosh, why don't you stop by the Lyons Studio booth and see Sam's new Cub release called "Field of Dreams." It features a 1946 J-3 Piper Cub and a John Deere Tractor from the same time period. Two brothers from Virginia, Anthony and William White, commissioned the original to provide inspiration for the Cub restoration they're doing. The painting has fantastic detail, beautiful machines and some humor too. You can see Sam himself peering out of the hangar.

Mindy, form Lyons Studio adds that, "There are other characters in the piece, including Charlie Kulp, otherwise known as the Flying Farmer. He's a unique airshow performer and he has his arm around me. We make a cute couple, don't you think?"

We agree...
